School trip to the Drava paddling route
Are you planning a summer sports week or a school trip or excursion? The Drava is a region with unique flora and fauna. Discoverers young and old will find here an informative area with Austria’s largest speckled alder alluvial forest and rare bird species such as kingfishers, common sandpipers and white storks. However, the river itself is also home to rare fish species such as the Danube salmon and the vairone.
Looking for nature trails?

Further to the south in the beautiful Rosental, the Zikkurat-Drauwelle (in the municipality of Ludmannsdorf) offers a successful symbiosis of water power, art and culture.
